STUDIO NOIR · Digital Membership
Phase 1: not offered. Zero digital membership Phase 1.
Phase 2: consider adding once the flagship has content worth streaming.
Phase 3: launch as a full product (target 300-500 subscribers at $49-$99/month).
Why no digital membership Phase 1
Phase 1 focus is filling physical classes at boutique scale (60-80 members). Digital membership Phase 1 would: - Distract from physical member acquisition - Require content production capacity we don’t have Phase 1 - Undermine the “in-room” hospitality thesis that makes STUDIO NOIR different from Peloton or apps
Phase 1 members are physical members. Full stop.
Phase 2 digital membership (optional)
Once the flagship opens with 400+ members: - Class recordings become a natural content library - Members traveling want continuity (streaming access when out of the Triangle) - Alumni who move away want to stay connected
Phase 2 digital tier concept:
- Digital Access ($49/month): recorded classes, member community access
- Digital Studio ($99/month): recorded classes + 1 monthly live virtual coaching session
Not a lead-gen product. It’s a service extension for existing members and alumni.
Phase 2 target: 100-200 digital subscribers by end of Phase 2 Year 1.
Phase 3 digital membership (full product)
Once Phase 2 flagship is stable + THE NOIR INVITATIONAL is a media property: - Digital membership expands beyond members-and-alumni to the broader brand audience - THE NOIR INVITATIONAL archive becomes a premium content offering - Coaching programs (multi-week pole progression) sold as add-on - Target: 300-500 subscribers, $180K-$300K annual revenue
Full Phase 3 digital platform spec rebuilt in 2031.
